Reversion pensions
Reversion pensions are designed to guarantee the surviving member of a couple a decent standard of living by paying the widow or widower a part of the principal pension which the deceased spouse received or would have received. All pension schemes pay reversion pensions, at different rates and subject to conditions which can vary.
