Survey of the competitiveness of ‘Business France’ and French companies in the global marketplace of 2008.
Conducted by INSEE in 2008, this survey provides information on international competition as it is experienced by French industrial businesses and defines its structural determining factors (regulatory framework, macroeconomic climate, socio-economic factors, quality of the education system etc.). This statistical operation concerns the competitiveness of French businesses in foreign marketplaces, how well they are established in these markets and what may be forecast for the next few years. This survey was conducted by post with a sample of around 4000 industrial companies questioned in the business tendency survey.
