Health sport
Health sport term for all types of physical activities where the central aim is the regaining, maintaining, or improving of one‟s health. From a medical point of view health sport is an important instrument in » prevention, » therapy, and » rehabilitation. A frequent motivation for practicing health sport are concrete diseases related to the lack of movement and the desire to eliminate the main risk factors for a cardiac infarct (lack of movement, inadequate diet, stress, smoking).
