Polybenzimidazole fiber (pbi): a manufactured fiber in which the fiber-formingwaste and inferior or off-grade material.Substance is a long chain aromatic polymer having recurrent imidazole groups as an integral part of the polymer chain. (Ftc definition). The polymer is made fromwaste and inferior or off-grade material.Tetraaminobiphenyl and diphenyl isophthalate and is dry spun from a dope with dimethylacetamide as a solvent.
