Indirect material
Indirect material: under the rules of origin of NAFTA this is either a good used in the production, testing or inspection of a good, but not physically incorporated into the good, or it is a good used in the maintenance of buildings or the operation of equipment associated with the production of a good. Examples of indirect materials are fuel and energy, tools, spare parts, safety equipment, lubricants and greases.
