Working Party on Domestic Regulation
Working Party on Domestic Regulation: established by the WTO on 26 April 1999 to develop disciplines aimed at ensuring that licensing requirements, technical standards and qualification requirements do not become unnecessary barriers to trade in services. The mandate for this Working Party also reflects to a large extent Article VI:4 of the General Agreement on Trade in Services. See also Working Party on Professional Services.
