Partial body movement
Partial body movement in contrast to whole body movements term for sport actions where only part of the body is utilised, e.G. Leg work in breast-stroke swimming, pole plant in skiing, wind-up movement in the javelin throwing within the framework of teaching and learning processes, it is sometimes useful to divide movements into partial movements (analytic-synthetic method), in order to first learn the partial body movement and subsequently combine the parts and exercise the complete movement.
